Mobility Scooters UK from Mobility Nation

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you keep your prices so low?

We import direct from the manufacturers and effectively offer quality products to the public at wholesale prices by cutting out the middlemen. Every link in a normal supply chain adds on their cut - fewer links means cheaper prices to you.

Do your prices include VAT?

No. Most purchases are exempt from VAT. A form is provided for this, so in most cases the price you see is the price you pay.

What does the By-Official-Appointment logo mean?

Mobility Nation are proud to declare that we are the official suppliers of Mobility Scooters and Accessories to Coventry City Football Club. Click here for further details.

When will I get my scooter?

We aim to contact everyone who orders on line within 48 working hours in order to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date. We arrange a courier service on your behalf and this is booked on a next day service. If you place an order over the telephone, we can generally despatch your order the same day if the order is placed before 12.00. Please note that we are closed Sundays and Mondays.

How much is Package and Postage?

Full details can be found on each product page on our website. Certain areas within the UK may incur delivery surcharges such as Northern Ireland or the Scottish Highlands.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Orders can be placed on-line via Protx (Secure 128 bit encryption), in person or by telephone. Telephone orders can be paid for by Cheque, Bank transfer, Cash or Credit/Debit Card. Orders placed on products in stock will normally be dispatched the next working day after full payment, allowing 4 working days for cheque clearance. Trade payments accepted by cheque, bank transfer, or cash only.

Care Of Scooters

All scooters come with full instructions but here is the most important point:
CHARGE THE BATTERIES ON A REGULAR BASIS!
Every time you use your scooter, leave the batteries on charge overnight.
Even if you haven't used your scooter, charge it overnight at least once a week.
The battery charger charges the batteries to the correct level and then automatically cuts off - so you cannot overcharge your batteries.
A common mistake that people make is that they put their scooters away for the winter (without charging the batteries regularly) and then wonder why the batteries no longer hold the same amount of charge. Scooter batteries "sulphate" without regular charging so please remember this. This is the same for all mobility scooters, not just ours.
